At The Hildebrandt School, we strive to enrich the musical development of
music makers and learners of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and genres.
While we do offer limited private lessons and happily accept students who
do not already sing or play an instrument, a central component of our purpose
is to support the musical growth of musicians and music learners. Our goal
is to help students get beyond whatever their current limitations are,
whether they wish they could read music, play by ear, follow a conductor,
improvise, sing better in choirs, sightread, accompany, write songs, excel
in aural skills and theory classes, memorize music, or overcome stage fright.

Classes at HSCM are held in a caring, supportive, safe environment where students can grow and explore together. We encourage learning, creativity, and collaboration in groups of diverse ages and backgrounds.
